i'm from Thailand and i'm in my school's french choir. There are 4 parts - Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. We have the competition every year, here are the songs we sang in the past

From Bizet's Carmen
- Habanera [Soprano,Alto solo and tenor, bass sing in other parts]
- Votre Toast [Tenor, bass solo and Soprano, alto sing in other parts]
- Les voici

From other composers
- Beethoven's - L'hymne a la joie [Ode to joy in french] - we use this song last year
- Fauré - Cantique de Jean Raine
- Mon coeur se recommande à vous
- Etc

these all i can remember

now, i´d like u all to help me find interesting [maybe famous and well-known]french songs/arias.
it should be originally in french, but it's ok if it is oficially translated into french like Beethoven and EU's Hyme à la joie.

if we win the competition, we will have an honorable chance to sing to HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the adorable princess of Thailand [we had this chance last year!!]

Thank you very much for your kind help

P.s. Almost everytime we use classical song in competitions, i feel that it is more interesting and exciting than pop music!!
P.s. 2 - There are some old videos that were recorded while we were singing in the competition day

Well, for good French songs, you could try some arrangement of Faure's "L'horizon Chimerique."

How about the "Flower Duet" from "Lakmé", by Delibes?
