Hello, im looking for any fun music for piano and violin, im ready for any suggestions.

I am interpreting "fun" as flashy or a showpiece.

Brahms- Sonatensatz
Tchaikovsky- Violin Concerto in D major (piano reduction)
Elgar- La Capricieuse, Op. 17
Saint-Saens; Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso (piano reduction)
Bruch- last movement of Scottish Fantasy (piano reduction)
Sarasate- Zigeunerweisen, Op. 20 (piano reduction)

Three items I have and have enjoyed playing or attempting to play:

These also seem to be contained, along with songs from Porgy and Bess, in a collection of Gershwin arranged by Heifetz, http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/Hei ... in/4377599

All of the above are still under copyright and unavailable through IMSLP. The skill level for these pieces runs from intermediate to advanced. Also advanced but great fun if you can manage them are the Brahms Hungarian Dances arranged by Joachim (some are easier than others). They are available at IMSLP. And while they all require skills that I don't posses, Stravinsky's pieces for violin and piano all seem like they'd be great fun to play, including the arrangements.

And for a change of pace, try to check out various collections of classic Argentine tangos arranged for violin and piano (such as: http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/The ... r/19219316). You can ham it up and improvise and ornament them as much as you want and still be within the bounds of the style.

Try Allen Shawn's Tango (2000, arrangement 2005). It is fairly advanced for both the pianist and violinist (I can manage to sight-read it, but it would take a fair amount of practice to improve), but it is very enjoyable if you can make it work.

Kroll's "Banjo and Fiddle" is a very fun piece, as are Wieniawski's violin showpieces.

I personally like the arrangement of Danse Russe from Petrushka for violin and piano.
