Some while ago I bought "Bubbling Spring" and the "Tales from the Vienna Woods" transcription by this American pupil of Liszt and have recently been delighted to find quite a number of this pianist-composer's works available on the "American Memory" website. There is an excellent transcription of Strauss' Wiener Bonbons which I intend to play, together with Bubbling Spring, to close a forthcoming recital.
I am intrigued by a listing of a "Carmen Fantasy" by Julia Rive-King but have been unable to locate it anywhere. If somebody knows of its whereabouts I would be grateful for any information concerning it.
