As a member of the WIMA project http://imslp.org/wiki/IMSLP:WIMA I am about to transfer this piece (choir):
Il fait danser les mondes typeset (arranged?) by Daniel Taupin. http://icking-music-archive.org/scores/ ... faitda.pdf

But the tune seems familiar to me. Does it come from a Cantata or another major Bach's work? What is the title in English? In German?

This tune is indeed to be found in a major work by Bach: In the St.-John-Passion, Nr. 26 with the text: "In meines Herzens Grunde"..., which is the third verse of "Valet will ich dir geben", a funeral song. See http://www.bach-cantatas.com/CM/Valet-w ... -dir-geben. The French text has a very different character: it is praising God and his creation, but it fits well to the optimistic upwards going melody.

Thanks. This is indeed the same tune. I'll think of an upload with the File Description: variation-or-transcription-or-arrangement-or-typesetting
etc. :) on the imslp page of this Passion.
