Dear Administrators,
Based on the plate number of this publication, it is estimated that this work was published around 1908–09. Even if it were published much later, this publisher went out of business around 1953. It means that this work was definitely published before 1954. Therefore, I believe virtually all published works by this composer published by Rouart, Lerolle can be uploaded to the PML-Asia server. Could you please unlock this file?

BdlF (Bibliographie de la France) is generally the go-to source for copyright verification and has several of his works listed during that period. (IMSLP: Bibliographie de la France. Also look for listings at BNF (catalogue.bnf.fr ) which for many French-published works after the 1850s or so was the first recipient before they even went to press, iirc, so their receipt-stamps give a fairly certain mark of copyright/publication date. They do not list Pénau's nocturne, unfortunately, or any of his Rouart publications (though they list 39 music publications of his in all, giving a date of 1910 to Chimères, e.g. ...)
