I've deleted them since they seem to not be in the public domain. It does say "Restampa anno 1976"... does this mean it was reengraved in 1976 or reprinted? Do you know, Carolus? Otherwise the edition information is like Peter said: Milan: G. Ricordi & G. Editori-Stampatori.

I think I've answered my own question... while searching the Juilliard catalogue I realized that it was first published in 1948, and only reprinted in 1976.

Restampa means simply "reprinted." All of the songs were first published in Verdi's lifetime, though a number were first issued by publishers other than Ricordi, who was Verdi's principal publisher. I'd have to look it up in the Hopkinson bibliography to confirm, but I think that Ricordi published an edition of the collected songs shortly after Verdi's passing in 1901.
