Would Ravel songs first published circa 1975 still be considered PD in Canada because of the life + 50 years rule, or does the recent publication date prevent this?

Most likely not PD... there is a publication+50 grant for posthumous publications I think (just to encourage the publication of posthumous works)... correct me if I'm wrong Carolus.

Feldmahler is correct. You'll need to delete the last everal pages of the Chants Populaires with Orenstein's reconstruction of the Chant Eccosaise. That one is protected for a long time - probably Orenstein's life plus 50 - because it's a reconstruction not juat an edition.

Re-uploaded the Chants populaires using the same name sans Chanson ecossaise. I wrote over the existing and previously-uploaded file yet it seems the download link for this hasn't been updated.
