Schäffler, Ludwig

Does anyone have birth and death dates for Ludwig Schäffler? He is a musicologist who did some realizations of baroque works. His publications started in about 1911, which would put his birth date at the latest about 1890, but he may well have been older when he started doing this type of publication, and also, I have no death date for him, which is the crucial part. I've checked WorldCat and MusicSack. Thanks.

Sorry for not beeing more precise, but a Google search with "moeck verlag" "Ludwig Schäffler" give many results with 1950 or so. So probably not PD-EU.

It seems that he operated as a music publisher in 1948, and probably until 1960/61 (year of death?).
