No reply from Acrobat yet.

But I just noticed that some of my IMSLP entries now have additional files titled "Engraving files(Capella)" and "Engraving files(musicXML)" which let you download a zipped collection of files. I did not install these new files but If that is now a permitted strategy I would prefer it to PDF attachments. Can anyone tell me whether this is now permitted?

We now allow zip archives for the engraving files of WIMA contributors. As Christian has mentioned, such engraving files can be very helpful to performers who might need to re-arrange a piece for their specific ensemble.

Is this only for scores brought over from WIMA, or is this generally allowed for typesets?

Only for WIMA scores at present.
