[FEAT] Composer biography link autocorrection

I know this isn't exactly major, but in order to save unnecessary edits (and wasted server space), could there be some automatic method of correcting the link you put in when you're creating a composer page? To illustrate:
-Putting in an external link- you have to just put in the link w/out formatting, but an easy mistake could be to put [ ] around it just like you do when you're editing
-Wikipedia links (more confusing)- it formats it like an internal link ([[ ]]), but it's not clear if you're supposed to put in [[ ]] in the actual box...or just [ ]? Putting in merely (for instance) wikipedia:Franz_Schreker into the box on the creation page causes the template to screw up because it formats it as an external link (it just puts [ ] around it), and there needs to be [[ ]] around it with | separating the displayed link text from the actual link.
Again, this is not really a huge problem, but I at least mess up almost every time I create a composer page with a biography link...
Alternatively, I guess a 'preview' function on the creation page could be helpful.
