While reading this newly submitted score: http://imslp.org/wiki/La_Maddalena_%28M ... Claudio%29, I realized that this is nota piece by Monteverdi, but incidental music for a play, in which each mouvement was written by a different composer (Monteverdi, Rossi, Effrem and Ghivizzani. See http://www.4enoch.org/wiki/index.php?ti ... i%29,_play)
So I think that, under current ISMLP rules, it should be moved to "La Maddalena (Various)".

My first point is, how to do this while having the work page on each composer's category page? As I understand, only admins can do that by now.

My second point is -as I'm impressed by the undergoing work on the "genres" re-tagging-, why not expand the "work info" fields in order to allow information for each mouvement of a work, when specific?
-In the above example, for the composers, but also:
-Art songs: cycles with different poets
-Almost everywhere: Key for each mouvement/sub-piece, Mouvement names (in a standardized way), tempo markings... (what astonishing automatic lists we could have!)

It's been moved. It's possible for any user to make it appear on all of the composers' pages- I just added the following text to the bottom of the page:

[[Category:Monteverdi, Claudio]]
[[Category:Rossi, Salamone]]
[[Category:Ghivizzani, Alessandro]]
[[Category:Effrem, Muzio]]

All these are are category references for each composer. The work page template does this automatically; this is kind of a manual override.

This is already mostly the case for a few composers (like Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Dvorak), and it would certainly be a big improvement. It would take an enormous amount of work though, because so many of the "work info" fields are currently empty.
