[FEAt] browse by nationality&period/category walker?

I've always wanted to be able to browse by both composer nationality and period, i. e. French Baroque, etc... both categories already exist, so would it be possible to somehow merge them? Maybe implement them into the new category walker? I'd be happy to work on it, but I'm somewhat of a wiki noob and manipulating wikis seems very confusing to me...
