I think the possibility of having a video feature on the IMSLP wiki may not be a terrible idea. It would be a great thing to have for ballet and opera performances released under a creative commons license. Sadly, even audio is proving to be some trouble in terms of copyright, and I fear that enabling a video feature would prove to be out of the copyright reviewers area of expertise.

But, what does everything think of the idea? Would it be too impractical?

Video formats are by now supported - one can upload in MP4, AVI, or MKV format (see here for examples, and here for the Journal announcement).
