permission needed for new regional forums?

Is it just that this is a brand new set of forums not quite set up yet, or is it a bug that I am told I don't have the required permissions to read these?

Most people don't have the necessary permissions to access them (only users with administrative permissions) - it certainly isn't a bug, but I'm not sure if it was done on purpose or not. What's in there right now definitely isn't sensitive information, but as I have to leave soon I'll just leave it to the discretion of someone else who's posted there.

I think that when I put the moderators in place, I accidentally locked the forums down.

I still can't get in, and I've deleted all cookies (thought I'd try that since I didn't know what else to do).

I think that the original intent was to have the regional forums public. I'm tweaking permissions accordingly. Please check that you can read them now.
