Scores played by pianists on a Japanese site.

Post by coulonnus »

I discovered this site http://www.piano.or.jp/. It is full of videos with pianists playing unfamiliar pieces. Some pages have a link to the corresponding IMSLP page like this one:
http://www.piano.or.jp/enc/dictionary/c ... 21092.html

Other pages don't seem to have such a link (I can't read Japanese):
http://www.piano.or.jp/enc/dictionary/c ... 21075.html

Does anybody who reads Japanese see a link to a score?

There's no link to a score on the page you cite. But in general, if you install Google toolbar, you can use its page-translation feature to give an (often crude) translation of a web page. It worked well enough on the Japanese page. Warning: Japanese usually uses a (Japanese) phonetic equivalent of many western words (including the names of composers and compositons) and you might have to say out loud the Google "translation" to find out what western word is intended, since the Japanese pronunciation of that word isn't spelled anything like the original.
