Gustav Jenner

if anyone could digitize the Violin Sonatas of Gustav Jenner (the only formal student of Brahms). I believe his works are in the public domain since he died in 1920.

Not necessarily. If the editions of the said works were edited by editors who are still alive or died less than 50 years ago then the works would not be PD in Canada.

Well the works, the actual music by Jenner would be PD. But some editions can easily be copyrighted, yes.
