Hello,

Philidor at Brightcecilia.com kindly directed me here and thought someone here may be able to help.

I've been searching for some time for a copy of Lamperti's Vocal Studies in Bravura, but have had no success. The only copies I've managed to trace are in libraries in the US or Asia, but as I live in the UK that's not very helpful.

I've managed to track down possible sources here:

http://translate.google.co.uk/translate ... start%3D10

http://openlibrary.org/b/OL16419261M/Vo ... in_bravura

I have previously also located copies in various libraries in the US, although I cannot now find the links.

Does anyone have any idea how I can acquire a copy? As far as I can tell, this music is now out of copyright, so it might be possible to scan a library copy.

Thanks so much!

Hi again,

I've been searching again for the manuscript today and found copies in the following locations:

A copy appears to be available at the University of the Philippines, Diliman College of music, but is not available for digital download: http://www.elib.gov.ph/details.php?uid= ... 334cbe1ea8

Another (shorter) version can be found in the Fennel Music Library, which appears to be part of the Bonisteel Library in Interlochen – the link is here:

I don't know if anyone has easy access to either of these facilities?

Good luck with these. I had to Google the Bonisteel Library in Interlochen to find where it is.

Interlochen is located about 4 hours from Detroit and 6 hours from Chicago by car...
