Hello,
Does anyone have the solo part for Rode's 12th concerto? I'm in the akward position of having the orchestra parts but no solo. If anyone has this it would be greatly appreciated if you can share. And I will of course share something as well! www.jonathanfrohnen.com/collectioncontent.html

Re: Rode Concerto #12 Solo Part
Are the sets at Library of Congress and at the Staatsbibliothek in Berlin both without the solo?
Here in Berlin I could have a look...

Re: Rode Concerto #12 Solo Part
Just noticed:
Since earlier today the complete catalog cards of the Musikabteilung - Deutsche Staatsbibliothek Berlin can be accessed online:
http://staatsbibliothek-berlin.de/musik ... aloge.html
So no need anymore to trek over and search the catalogs (over 1 million catalog cards) by hand. Still not a digital catalog, but better than before.
So, Rode Nº12 op. 27 exists
as a reprint about 1870 Solo-part with Piano reduction, Sign. DMS 57028.
Then there is a catalog card for the complete set (15 parts) Sign. Mus.11792 - lost in WWII
but the electronic Stabikat has a duplicate of this as an apparently recent purchase or gift: Sign. 55 NB 968
I don't know, if I would be able to make photocopies myself (depends on the preservation).
I would suggest you order them, and if they offer only scans, specify 600dpi - even if this option does not exist on the form. Should not cost you more, but they will only do this for small orders, since it takes a bit longer per page...
