The year of 2010 is the 150th Anniversary of Debussy, and I am looking for a work for piano and orchestra by Debussy.

I found he wrote the Fantasia for piano and orchestra

http://imslp.org/wiki/Fantaisie_for_Pia ... _Claude%29

However where can I get the orchestral parts and piano solo score?

Could anyone having access to orchestral parts and piano solo score for this work please upload the PDF?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, the reduction for 2 pianos was not made by Debussy but rather a friend of his, Gustave Samazeuilh (d. 1967) and so won't be available for another 7 years in Canada. Since the first edition of this was published in 1919, it is, however, public domain in the US. This was subsequently revised and republished in 1968.

That I do not know. What I do know is that they weren't reprinted by any of the major houses, so if the originals exist, it's safe bet to say they're quite rare.

...and just a quick note, 2012 will actually be the 150th anniversary of Debussy's birth. I know because I am planning a large set of performances of his music that year :)

When one considers this is an orchestral work by Debussy and it's so rarely recorded, one must imagine the parts aren't easily accessible.

Just an thought.

The MS seems to be on deposit at the Morgan (and Debussy apparently forbid its performance). It was first published by Fromont in 1920. In 1968 André Jouve published a "nouvelle version établie d'après les corrections de l'auteur" with Jobert, and there's a Soviet edition from 1963. Check with Kile Smith at the Fleisher collection, as they might very well have this.
