J C Kessler, romantic composer for the piano

Post by 0101szopen »

I was just wondering why there was so little uploaded from this composer who apparently was a friend of Chopin and why there is just this one article on him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Christoph_Kessler. There is only one score available from this composer and is the following http://www.boileau-music.com/libro.asp? ... 0&idioma=0. The one I wish I could take a look at is the one he dedicated to Frederic Chopin, 24 Preludes, Op.31. This work made Chopin come up with his own preludes in which he returned the favor of dedication to Kessler. Can somebody upload it please. I also found this...http://www.piano.or.jp/enc/dictionary/c ... 22851.html. Is either a chinese or japanese site with a link to each one of the 24 preludes that takes you to youtube where you can see some asian pianists rendering each prelude respectively. How did this asiatic people got a hold of the Op.31 and is not even uploaded to this library project?
