Any suggestions where I might get hold of Michael Haydn's Quintet in B flat major?

Many thanks,

Are you looking for the string quintet P 105 /S 412 recorded by Archibudelli?

No entry in worldcat except for the recordings, but if you search kvk http://www.ubka.uni-karlsruhe.de/kvk.html
you find a manuscript copy at BSB and the 1803 print at UdK Berlin
(search for author Haydn, Michael and title 412)

You can ask for copies at repro@udk-berlin.de

Thank you for all your advice - it's very exciting to think I might find this.

Unfortunately, I'm hopeless on computers and the advice you gave me was not quite enough for me to really understand how to work the library. If you are able to expand a little on how to find this music I would be extremely grateful.

Many thanks again.

Like many libraries, UdK Berlin (that is the former "Hochschule für Musik") will supply copies, scans or microfilm of rare items in their collection. Since it is a small institution, they don't have their own reproduction department, but cooperate with some reprography-service.

You can just send them an email in English at the address I gave you and ask for a quote and what options they offer. I would assume reader printer output from microfilm or scans, at about 0.30 euro per page plus postage.
