Debussy - D'un cahier d'esquisses - Orchestrations

I've read several times of the suspicion that D'un cahier d'esquisses may have been a 'trial run' for La Mer, recently I stumbled across a quote in the liner notes to the Naxos series of recordings of Debussy's piano works that something that might be interesting to hunt down and add.
Some quick web research reveals that the 'Belgian publisher' in the quote above may have been Schott...
