Does anyone know how I could request this "Krizhiz Op. 65 for piano 2H"
http://catalog.lib.rochester.edu/vwebv/ ... Id=1066611

I remember there used to be a request page at sibley library, but I don't see any boxes where I could fill in the info of the requesting item

Well, then what about a piano transcription of Symphony No.3 'Ilya Murometz', Op.42? (published 1912)

Not able to see any records for a piano transcription of his third symphony, so if they do exist they must be fairly rare.

A piano transcription (be it solo, or 4-hands, or 2 Pianos - 4hands) of Gliére's 3rd Symphony, probably never existed in the first place....

Any chances to see more Gliere oeuvres uploaded here?

Gliere is completely free in Canada (at least for now) but the infernal GATT/TRIPs nonsense tossed a great deal of things first published in the Soviet era under copyright in the USA. He remains under copyright in the EU until 2027, as he (allegedly) is in his native Russia. Yes, things can be added, but many will be free only in life-plus-50 countries, whose numbers are shrinking steadily.

Hrm. Wondering whether "B Jaworsky"'s duet transcription of Glière's string octet (published, it seems?, like the octet, in 1903, and available at a few libraries) is public domain in enough places? (Possibly, according to VIAF, Boleslaus Jaworski/y, 1877-1942, so PD-EU/CA by now.)

(We also lack the composer's piano duet transcription of his own second string sextet, which the British Library has. Seems to have been published in 1904. BL also has a Gorohoff reduction of his first string quartet, and someone's of the 2nd quartet...)
