A completely random idea - could we have a function showing the composers who's birthday it is on each day? I think that could make for a neat little side page, etc.

I like that idea. It would be another way of drawing attention to the more obscure composers.
Plus, it would be fun checking the site on my birthday to see who I share a birthday with.
