Well, there's Beethoven's piano transcription of his violin concerto...

The only one that comes to mind is the obvious one - Grieg's.

Strauss' Burleske both starts, and ends, with solo timpani. While not strictly a whole concerto, it is treated like one by record companies and piano soloists. It has been mentioned in the "solo endings" thread I started.
