Piano Anthology "Il mio primo ..."

Post by ctesibius »

Hi all,
I uploaded 2 vols from the piano serie "Il mio primo ..." a collection of easy pieces of important classical composers edited by Ettore Pozzoli.
I haven't found any copyright renewal in the US Copyright DB. However they have been marked as Non-PD Europe and Non-PD US
Pozzoli died in 1957. The book do not contain critical notes or other creative work.
Can someone please shed some light here

Thx

why Non-PD EU?
even assuming it is a critical edition (which is not) the copyright is 20-30 years

70 years for the editor. It is creative, as he assembled the collection and order (enough to qualify for copyright on the collection even if he used PD scores)
