Re: Forum link suggestion
Using the main site icon is also a more obvious link than the corresponding textual link... PML
Re: Forum link suggestion
Would this be acceptable?

Re: Forum link suggestion
It's fine. On a pedantic note, though, you've pluralised the S of IMSLP - the subheading should read:
Forums for the International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP.org)
;-)
Forums for the International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP.org)

No problem, Philip
I've updated today the phpBB software to the latest version. To my surprise, modifications have been lost. I've already restored the IMSLP logo, and the modification is now in the file system and not any more in the database, as I'm sure that modifications in the file system are preserved when upgrading (it's the way I implemented it on CPDL).
I'm not sure whether the link to IMSLP nearby the "View your posts" label makes sense now: it is only available to logged users, while the link associated to the IMSLP logo is available to everybody. For the moment, I've not restored it yet.
Any comments are welcome.

Re: Forum link suggestion
One of the links which I regularly use is the "View active topics" link from the main page, since this collects the 40-odd most recently modified threads onto the one page (so I don't need to go browsing through each forum and sub-forum). As of the upgrade it is no longer functioning - no threads are returned from the search as being "active". Incidentally, this bug seems to be the norm over on the CPDL forums - searching for "active topics" returns no threads there as well.

Re: Forum link suggestion
Probably it's some debris of an old bug documented in the phpBB support forums: the displaying of active topics can be selectively activated for each specific category and for each specific topic, and it was forced to "off". I've turned it on for all forums now. Is this OK?
