It would be fun if we had a section of the main page where we have a "score of the day" or/and perhaps like the wikipedianesque "On this day..." e.g. this score was published... The ninth symphony of Beethoven ur-performed, Schumann went mad, Liszt died etc. By my limited knowledge, it should be rather easy to write a code for the first one. I don't know about the second (On this day) since one would thus need to collect information, trivia, make a list etc.
Is any of this in the interest of the site or do-able?

There are featured scores...the problem is
1. Repeats...we don't want the same things each year.
2. I doubt we would have enough for even one year

It could be a work-in-progress and everyone could add works to it. It doesn't have to be done per se in order to be put on the site, but we could add works to it continuously.
