Hello,

Do we as users need to add the tags now? I'm asking because I saw that some new pages didn't get tags after reviewing and
because the tags are visible (and maybe even editable by users?) in the general information part now instead of at
the bottom of the page.

Actually, their editability hasn't changed at all - the new field in General Information was added following a discussion about the visibility of the category links. (See here) It is automatically generated, taking advantage of a new technical feature added by Feldmahler.

Hi,
but may users manually add some category? and what if no categories are present?
For instance, I recently uploaded some arias by Steffani -- http://imslp.org/wiki/3_Arias_(Steffani,_Agostino) -- and there are no categories (may be: Soprano voice with B.c., etc...). I would like to be able to add some categories, since I do not find any one on the page.
Please let me know
Thanks

Simone (aka K.)

Hello Simone. The categories have to be allocated very carefully, so we have a specialist team to do this task. There is a queue of works waiting to be tagged but this is a careful process so it takes time.

Where you can help is to make sure that the information in the "Instrumentation" field of the page is accurate and comprehensive, so that our taggers don't have to download the score every time and examine every page to see which instruments are used. In the case of the 3 Steffani arias the accompaniment (if there is any) for No. 2 is not indicated, so it would be helpful if you could supply this information, which is needed to determine the correct categories.
