I have several collections of guitar music from 1870-1890 and am wondering how to submit them. For instance I've got Brainard's Instrumental Guitar Folio no.1 from 1890. S. Brainard is the author of the folio but not the composer of most of the pieces. It's full of lovely bits of immigrant americana such as the Sleeping Beauty Schottische opus 140 by the redoubtable Mr. Edmund K. Foster (shockingly previously unknown to IMSLP).
Should I just submit it as S. Brainard? Most of the scores I've downloaded seem to have been run through OCR software and are internally searchable (yeah!). Is that something that happens during the submittal process or do I need OCR it? I assume that would pick up the individual composer names?

Re: submitting collection/folio
Fortunately we have a composer category called "Various" which covers compilations of works by different composers
The names within the file won't be picked up by IMSLP's search software, so ideally there would be a list of the works and their authors added to the work page. If you have a browse through the works in the "Various" category, this will give you an idea of how it can work.
