Typeset rules changed?

Whatever happened to
'"typeset by" field may not be left blank'
?... (and letting people get around that by submitting obvious typesets, even their own, with the scanner field empty seems to violate the spirit rathermuch.)

Leaving the field empty for scans simply generates the Unknown (in italics). For typesets and new compositions, it should be the name of the person who created the document using the notation software, not the brand name of the software itself. The terms "composer" "arranger" and "editor" are all excellent to use in that field, as they avoid redunancy, overly long names which break into 2 lines, etc.
