This seems to respond normally. The monitoring system did not log any outage recently. Are you still experiencing this problem?

Yes, everytime I tried for the last 4-5 weeks, no response from the server. No download possible

Individual files and also the domain itself, just idles for a few minutes and then displays "sever not responding"
With both of my Mac's, Safai and Firefox browsers operating systems 10.4 and 10.7

Are there other mirrors for the Canadian server I could access?

Its rare that I try to download from the Canadian server but there should not be any IP-specific blocking?
Would just be convenient to quickly access scores instead of searching for the hardcopy in my music. I know,
If I don't own the score/parts, I would have to officially buy or hire and file with GEMA.

Aliases of the Canadian server can be reached through petruccimusiclibrary.ca and imslp.leonardolibrary.org. Do these domains show the same behavior to you?

No problem with any of them here, at least from my smartphone. I'm not sure how to reproduce this problem. Is anybody else experiencing the same?

I checked on the PML-CA server logs, and it seems there was no one visit from Germany in June. I tried to reach http://petruccilibrary.ca through a German proxy server, and it didn't work. May other users from Germany check whether they can access http://petruccilibrary.ca?

Funny, I just tried to access the following:

http://imslp.org/wiki/Special:ImagefromIndex/143221

it linked through to burrito and that failed as usual. After checking this forum to see the status on this problem, I tried again, preparing to try the aliases mentioned above. But suddenly it now linked through to javanese.imslp.info and that works!

Anyhow it seems the burrito problem persists. When I encounter it again I will try the suggested aliases and report back on this forum.

Thanks!

I am from Belgium. I just tried petruccilibrary.ca as well as petruccimusiclibrary.ca and imslp.leonardolibrary.org, they are all OK. It's just the burrito.whatbox.ca that is unreachable for me.

Many thanks.

Burrito appears to be one of the servers used for scores that are public domain both in Canada and in US. There are several servers of this type, and traffic is randomly distributed to them, so it is possible that a score is downloaded from one server at a certain time, and from another server at another time.

The PML-CA server is instead the only one that contains scores that are public domain in Canada and not in US or in Europe. There are no other servers like it, and it would be very strange if only German IMSLP users cannot reach it (maybe the server has been blacklisted in Germany?).

This availabilty test service:

http://www.websitepulse.com/help/testto ... -test.html

appears to confirm that petruccilibrary.ca is available from New York and Melbourne, but not from Munich. Uhm...

Just a gentle reminder that the problem persists; burrito.whatbox.ca is unreachable from Belgium.

Just wanted to happily report that burrito.whatbox.ca works again (as always I am reporting from Belgium). It has been unreachable for more than half a year.
