Hello everybody,

first let me start of, by thanking all of you, for maintaining this incredible source of written music.
This library is amazing!

I got a problem for several days now. I'm not able to download files which are hosted on http://petruccilibrary.ca/
e.g.
http://petruccilibrary.ca/linkhandler.p ... _Op.65.pdf
http://petruccilibrary.ca/linkhandler.p ... nettes.pdf
I simply get a timeout after a few seconds.

Files which are on different servers pose no problem.
I hope this can be fixed. I really need those 2 PDFs.

You are from Germany, I guess. It seems that someone in Germany (most likely, a music publisher) has requested and obtained that access to the PML-CA server is barred (i.e., the IP address of the server is blacklisted by the German internet service providers, so the server cannot be reached by anybody from Germany).

This was noted already, and it seems that Germany is the only country where this has happened, thus preventing access to PML-CA to all German users, including those who may lawfully download scores under "fair use" or other exceptions foreseen by the German copyright law. It's a shame, IMO.

Yes, I am from Germany. This is really upsetting, I had no idea that they are blocking petruccilibrary.ca .
I'm not sure if this even legal for the ISP to do so.

I will contact my ISP and ask why they do it, and who is pushing this ban.

Maybe I can post more information later.

It works in Germany - but it's Non-PD EU.
I don`t download this files!

Try http://scorser.com Type composer and Op. number in their search field. Skip the results with IMSLP because you will be redirected to imslp with the same timeout result you've obtained.

And don't ask me if scorser.com is correct in term of copyright issues. I hope it's not disabled in Germany too!
