On whose workpage do I upload A method for the piano-forte, by William Mason and E.S. Hoadly? Do I upload on William Mason's workpage since he was shown as the first author?

Add the work page to Mason's category. Create a category for the second author if it doesn't already exist. At the bottom of the work page beneath the end-of-template message add a link to the second author's category in this fashion: [[Category:Hoadly, E. S.]] or whatever his full name is. At the top of the work page just above the #fte:imslppage message you can use the Collab template to specifically name the two authors. ...and if it's a book, add the field |Page Type=Book (works just the same as the added field for Collections) to General Info.
