I was going to scan some public domain books on music composition/analysis that I thought would fit in with IMSLP's collection of books on music. Then I noticed that these works are already scanned by the Internet Archive. Can I upload these scans to IMSLP to enhance this site's collection?

Yes, I have imported quite a few. Remember to put {{IArchS}} in the Scanner field you do the Add File, Add Scan job.
