It helps if you provide the composer! Do you already have the score? Is there a publication date in it?

Probably Gershwin, and (written 1932) looks to be very non-PD.

In the US, yes (not published until 1933, in arrangement) but may be public domain in France and Canada, depending. (The full score seems not to have been published in facsimile until 1987, though, and so it- and maybe the parts- may well be in © everywhere :( with only the reductions published in 1933 out of copyright in Canada and Europe )

That said, I think someone- New York Public Library? - may have the original ms parts and may make copies of them available on loan to performing organizations. (Ah, never mind, not at that link I think, removing it, though that has other works by Gershwin...)

Hrm, "originally titled "Rumba"." Oh, maybe it was at that link after all...

Ah-hah. Here's a Belwin score & parts edition... Belwin published in 1999...

I should note that the Alfred/Belwin website only offers (in the USA anyway) the (manuscript facsimile) score of the Cuban Overture (for USD 40.00), not the parts... (it's the Library of Congress in DC, not the New York Public Library, that has the manuscript.)

We have the score. You can print it and split the parts with scissors or split the images with Photoshop or similar. Simply the horizontal note spacings won't look nice. :-(

I'm a little surprised we do given the info above.. ah, because of possibly confusing copyright info...

I've got the parts already scanned in; let me discuss this with the CR and we'll get back to you timely.
