I and some friends would like to continue practising together despite the present fuss. An application for chat between computers would be appropriate. We have tried zoom and skype but they have the feature of muting the less noisy microphones, which is appropriate for conversation but not for music.
Does anybody know the right application? Video is not required.
Is there a remote "chat" application for chamber music?

I'm afraid that all normal services that allow to share an audio channel among several users have another bigger problem: the delay. Playing music synchronously when located in different places is probably impossible without means specifically designed for that purpose, so that the delay is minimum and constant enough to be compensated somehow.

We are all in the city of Nice, France and we noticed no delay for conversation.

I'm quite surprised that you experience an acceptable delay. If so, this article may be of interest for you.

This article is about muting applications other than skype e.g. games you already have.
And this article is of the category I described in the Off Topic forum (consults many other sites).
