In some of my contributions there are several versions. The reasion of newer version is in general a correction of some errors or better display. So there is no sense and no value of keeping old versions.
How can I delete old version and so release space for other files.
Better in my case would be the possibility to replace the former version by a newer one without keeping the older version.
Thanks for help

Click on the large number preceded by a # under the title of the score. You will find Upload a new version of this file
Re: how to deleteold versions?
Yes, I know that, and I use that always when I made some corrections. But still the old version is visible. Can I delete the old versions?

Re: how to deleteold versions?
Wait for the copyright reviewers to do their job. Do you see the both the old and the new versions in the page under #<number>?
Re: how to deleteold versions?
Yes, I can see all versions. I don't need any version management as recovering an older version. When I upload a newer version it is always because of some little errors (forgot instrument names or registers or something like that) so that in my case all older version can be thrown away. For me the best would be the possibility just to replace an older version without keeping it. Because it could be a good feature ( [ ] replace old versions)
Thanks
Thanks

Re: how to deleteold versions?
Only us admins can delete files on the site including old versions, users cannot delete them.

So I wait until they will do that
