Shostakovich's First Symphony
As seen below, the scanned Universal Edition part scores of Shostakovich's First Symphony on nkoda indicate that they are copyrighted in 1927 globally, which means that it should fall into PD-US in 2023 as far as I know?
Re: Shostakovich's First Symphony
I need link evidence of its first publication by a reliable source for documenting here, not the copyright info from a page I have no idea from what piece.

Re: Shostakovich's First Symphony
I can confirm that this piece is PD-US.
Re: Shostakovich's First Symphony
Alright go ahead.
Re: Shostakovich's First Symphony
Shostakovich's second symphony was also published in 1927 and I have added full scores for both. I have parts for the first symphony but I'd need more time to prepare them for upload. If you have parts for that symphony I'd say go ahead and upload or else I will get around to it eventually.

Re: Shostakovich's First Symphony
That's great to hear, if you have the physical part scores already then I think you should do it

Re: Shostakovich's First Symphony
The non-string parts for Shostakovich's First are up on PML-US. The string parts I'll have to do later.

Re: Shostakovich's First Symphony
Thank you for confirming. I am actually on my way of acquiring a 1927 copy of the first Piano Sonata--hopefully I will get it uploaded within the next month.
Re: Shostakovich's First Symphony
I have full parts up for the first symphony... the string parts are not in great condition but it's all there!
Re: Shostakovich's First Symphony
Btw, I should be able to get up scores for Aphorisms, Op.13, and Three Fantastic Dances, Op.5, hopefully fairly soon.
