So someone just informed me for the first time of this display and may I please suggest replacing the composition date column with a first publication date column. Maybe I now understand why so many people continue to include the publication date as the composition date, adding a ca. to hedge, when that still doesn’t make it right or not misleading to do so absent independent evidence.
