I'm uploading a lot of popular songs. I've long felt that popular songs need 3 access points for the title:
1. The actual song title
2. The first line of the song (when it's different from the title)
3. The first line of the refrain or chorus (when it's different from the title)
If one is uploading an independent work, IMSLP offers you a title and an alternative title.
If one is uploading a song from musical or film with many songs, it only offers you a title.
It would be great if the templates could offer one the three options I mention above. Lacking that, I suppose one could use the "misc. notes" field, e.g.:
|Misc. notes: First line of text: This is a sad song<br>First line of refrain: I'm singing a happy song
Then the question hinges upon whether the search function will surface this item if one just searches the text in Misc. notes. Will it search "Misc. notes" as well as work titles?
More access points for titles?
