Well, Peters Edition is an edition society (one of the big ones), and, so far I know, still in the business today...
I think that the music I have was edited at the real beginning of the century (on the back cover they advertise : "Mozart, Sonaten für Klavier u. Violine, Neue Ausgabe von Schnabel und Flesh"
Scnabel died in 1951, but Flesh in 1944... and I guess they didn't do it on their deathbed...
My edition is not an Uhrtext... it definitely didn't exist in those days... by the way, the first page cover is typical of the early beginning of 20th century, with caryatids, angels holding flower garlands, and a lyra...
So, I guess it should be OK...
However I've started already to scan the first page of the violin part and to do an OCR with Finale, just to see how it goes, and that is done now, I'll see if it recognizes well the piano part but I may just send the photos of it since it may be rather long...
Anyway, the photos have also to be a bit corrected since the paper has a bit darkened with time...

Hello...
I'm just finish with the Schumann parts, but, since it is the first time that I'm uploading some music here, I'd like to ask what to do with it.
It is now as PDF (had to clean the files that were very yellowed from age, and were full of celotape), and I assembled separately the piano part and the violin part, but I thing that somehow those two have to be joint together, isn't it...
should they be put in a folder of some sort ? (the problem must be similar for quartets or quintets)...
writing this made me think that maybe this question is already answered in the FAQs, if such is the case, don't bother to answer, I'll find it...

Well, thanks for the datum, Matthieu... I guessed it was about that period, since the picture on it looks very much like this period after Napoleon III...
And don't bother to scan it, since it's done already... I spent the day now doing it and am just on the point to upload the PDF...
I was just wondering about that question of putting the 2 files in one folder... but, maybe it is good enough to assemble them together as PDF... after all, when printing it, it'll be separated by page anyway... I'll just go and see on here what is being done for such parts for sonatas or quartets...
