The other day I stumbled upon an audio recording of Cesar Cui's Op. 1 (Scherzo No. 1 on the themes B.A.B.E.G. and C.C.), posted just last month, and performed by duo pianists Tatjana and Leonid Schick. It's on YouTube with still images:

A very nice performance. Enjoy!
(BTW, both the piano score and the orchestral score for this piece are available on IMSLP.)

Thanks, Carolus.
I used your idea and added links to performances of three pieces from Op. 40 and two songs from Op.57:

http://imslp.org/wiki/25_Poems_by_Pushk ... ntonovich)
(By the way, why is it that these links to works-pages on IMSLP don't show up correctly in postings on this bulletin board? Even the embedded URL command doesn't work.)

For some reason, parentheses break the hyperlink. The only way I know how to fix it is to replace opening parentheses with "%28" and closing parenthesis with "%29" (the corresponding ASCII hex codes for those symbols). For example,
http://imslp.org/wiki/%C3%80_Argenteau% ... ntonovich)
becomes
http://imslp.org/wiki/%C3%80_Argenteau% ... onovich%29
It's kind of a pain, but maybe there is an easier way someone else can suggest.

The wiki treatment of external links is a little unusual, to be sure. How, for example, would one cause the YouTube video or a linked MP3 to open automatically in a new window - sort of like the old "target=_blank" tag in html? It would be nice to flip through the pages of the Cui piece mentioned while listening at the same time. I can do that now only by holding down the control key while clicking on the sound or YouTube link.
