I believe that the score recently posted of Monteverdi's Coronation of Poppea in the Malpiero edition is actually a "full" score. It just looks like a vocal score since the surviving material hardly has anything specific for anything but a continuo player. But the opening of the prologue shows independent melodic lines that are not present in the continuo, as does the end of the opera. In a true vocal score these lines would have been incorporated into the keyboard part.
