Settings of Hebrew by Christian Composers

Post by vinteuil »

I recently ran across D. 953 in Ivdruiz's recent uploads, and it took me a moment to realize that it was a transliteration of the Hebrew!
Aside from Schubert and Stravinsky, can anybody else think of Hebrew settings by Christian composers?

Handel- Israel in Egypt
Prokofiev- Overture on Hebrew Themes

Those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head. Might add more later.
