I've just seen that Paganini mose fantasie is downloadable from this site. It's pik up from notes.tarakanow.net ,printed and sold by editio musica budapest (http://www.emb.hu/kotta.php?id=920).Is it right (legal) or is it a mistake?
Thank you
Greetings

I uploaded that along with several other notes.tarakanov.net pieces. I thought the pieces were of questionable legality, but I think I discussed them on the forums and was generally reassured that it was fine. When the Public Domain status on the page switched to "Verified" I kind of stopped worrying about it. I'm no expert, so hopefully someone like Carolus will make sure. If it is in fact illegal, my deepest apologies.

If it's all ok better for us...... we should upload all that album of paganini.
Since my post is superfluous.... I apologize for it

If one of you has the Album in question, I would appreciate knowing what the publication date is. I had guessed this was an EMB publication on the basis of the engraving / typesetting. Interesting to see my guess was correct! If it is from before 1989, IMSLP's position is that it is a publication of the Hungarian government and therefore not subject to copyright protection. Thanks.
