Cavalli's La Calisto

There is a page missing in the scan of Francesco Cavalli's opera LA CALISTO.

It is near the end of Act I -- pages 66 and 68 are scans of the same page, and the missing page is the one preceding p. 71. This causes a slight order problem too. It would be most easily sorted out by the person who scanned it who has the original document in front of him/her.

Because the pages aren't really numbered in the facsimile, this is the clearest way for me to describe it.

In terms of lightly pencilled page numbers on every other page, it's:

The back of p. 39 "ne languide e pungenti..." has been scanned twice and also appears as the back of p. 40.

The back of p. 40 is out of order and appears as the back of p. 41, in other words, the page beginning "capre e con lor vivi" should be the back of p. 40 ("bocca gravida di favi") rather than the back of p. 41 ("perche garzone semplice")

The back of p. 41 is missing, "Che Narciso..." through ..."...le carezze disprezzano." -- this is the only page of the opera which was not scanned, so it needs to be put in there.

I just checked things. You are right, pages 66 and 68 are duplicates of each other. However, this is the way the files are provided by the Italian library (the link to there does not work because they recently have changed their system, now you can find the work at http://iccu01e.caspur.it/ms/internetCul ... a=marciana where the problem still persists. Maybe one can let them know and they correct this?
