At this thread there is a comment from a few years ago that Peachnote may display PDFs better than ViewerJS. Here is a counterexample, tested in three browsers:
The Breitkopf und Härtel score for the third movement of Beethoven's Emperor piano concerto (file #01211) initially displays OK in 'View' but page 2 is totally wrong and then after page 15 it switches to some totally unconnected French opera. Downloading the PDF shows no such problem.
Checking inside Peachnote itself, the same errors occur. I've not been able to check whether ViewerJS would also fail on this file.
